As usual, the Social Security maintains its work of communication to citizens in terms of procedures and documents. One of the most common queries is that of the working life, and to this end the agency has sent an SMS to some citizens.
Import@ss is the Social Security’s portal for online procedures and provides citizens with a whole series of services, including the possibility of obtaining the employment history “at the moment”, from the worker’s personal area.
The possibility of obtaining the work history is not available to all citizens. As the Social Security explains in the Import@ss explanatory section, it can only be accessed “if you are registered” or if “you have been registered at some time in your life”.

The Social Security offers through its Electronic Headquarters a set of services to facilitate certain procedures to citizens. In order to access some of these services, it is necessary to identify oneself to the system by means of a digital certificate issued by a recognized certification authority or through the cl@ve platform.
This system, common in many banking operations, bases the security of the user’s identification on the user’s knowledge of a series of personal data and possession of the mobile device, which must have been previously registered with the Social Security in the user’s name through a secure procedure.
Currently, there are 58 different services that can be accessed through this method in the Electronic Headquarters. By clicking here you will access the complete list, with direct links to each of the services, as well as brief instructions and direct access to a help manual in case you need it.

“The Provincial Directorate of the General Treasury of the Social Security of Bizkaia warns, therefore, the public so that in case of receiving the SMS does not believe that it is a fraudulent message,” explained the INSS.
In total, SMS will be sent to 200,000 citizens, some 14,825 per working day, with the following message: “The Social Security Treasury in Bizkaia requests that you use IMPORTASS/Personal Data/Via SMS (http://run.gob.es/adiama) to provide us with your e-mail address, which is essential for receiving communications from the Treasury. Info 915410291/901502050”.
Once you click on the link in the SMS received and you are directed to the Treasury’s website, users can access their personal data with a pin code, digital certificate, or if neither of these is available, by SMS. In this case, a code will be sent by SMS to access, modify or complete the data.
